Why didn’t the British military test these devices before they were used in the field? Isn’t it ultimately their responsibility to make sure the products they use in battle actually work? How were military personnel actually trained to use them if they didn’t work?

er, i dont think he British army is using them, they where sold to the iraqi government. meaning it was the iraqis who where stupid enough to use them.

They have measures set in place for toy makers to adhere to some sort of saftey standards, but they don’t have anything for something that can detect bombs and elephants?
Several MP’s were informed about this scam as early as 2008 but saw nothing wrong with it. Or just ignored those bringing it to their attention.
A lot of people are missing the point regarding this device, those involved in the purchase of this equipment don’t care whether it works or not, that is why no testing was done prior to purchase, their only concern was how much money their share amounted to. The amount of bribes paid out ensured this device had a smooth passage to purchase.

Why are they not testing them on bombs then? Get a real bomb to the lab and then put the detector near it. Then you know does it work or not and not only on the owners conference, but on another conference. Another company where i see with a triangle/pyramid, that doesnt deserve it’s money.
